The Zoom Where It Happens led by Susan Lurie

Remember how Zoom kept us connected during COVID?  At the time, I enjoyed the programs and discussions with groups but most of all, I looked forward to the more personal socializing with friends and family members.

These virtual dinners, cocktails,  game nights, discussions and general “hanging out” have ceased as life returns to more normal in-person contacts.  This is of course wonderful for most people, but there are still some for whom Zoom continues to work best for social connections. For these people, there may still be the threat of COVID or other illness. They may be unable to drive at night or have other transportation issues. They may have hearing difficulties and find it hard to follow conversations in a room with many people. Others may be a caregiver, have an illness, are away and want to maintain connections, find it difficult to get out in the evening, and no doubt, there are other reasons as well.

For all of you who would like to connect on Zoom, join us in The Zoom Where It Happens.

Our group will provide the opportunity to make new TBT friends and reconnect with old friends.  The group size will be limited and the same people will attend each month, allowing us to get to know each other.  The content of the monthly group meetings will include a variety of activities to be determined by the members themselves.

Meeting day /time to be determined by the members of the group.
